Today, at the FC Karpaty training base in Bartativ, a ceremony honoring the bronze medalists of the 2024/25 Ukrainian U-19 Championship took place. The players, coaching staff, and club officials received their medals from Ievhen Dykyi, President of the Ukrainian Premier League, Maksym Stepanenko, UPL Sporting Director, and Oleksandr Shevchenko, Vice President of the Ukrainian Association of Football.
Karpaty U-19 were formed on the basis of the Karpaty-2 team, which competed in the Second League in the 2023/24 season under coach Roman Hnativ, and were strengthened by the best players from the UFK-Karpaty U-17 side — the reigning Ukrainian Youth Football League champions (coach Taras Pavlish) — along with several promising players identified by the club’s scouting department. The team began the season under Denys Kozhanov, who later handed over the head coach role to Oleh Holodyuk, becoming his assistant.

In the past, Karpaty had already claimed third place in the U-19 Championship, but those were achievements of the previous club entity. For the new Karpaty, this bronze finish marks a historic first success at this level.
The Ukrainian Premier League sincerely congratulates FC Karpaty on winning the bronze medals of the U-19 Championship, wishing the club exciting matches and further progress next season — and to the young players, a swift path to playing at the Ukrainian Premier League level!
