Yesterday, a videoconference meeting of UPL Participants was held to discuss the draft match calendar for the 2025/26 Ukrainian Premier League season.

The proposed draft, prepared by the League’s Working Group, was shared with the clubs in advance. During the meeting, participants agreed not to hold the Ukrainian Super Cup match this year and set August 2, 2025, as the preliminary base date for Matchday 1 of the new UPL season.

UPL clubs were given time to review and finalize the competition calendar for the 2025/26 season.

The calendar will be officially approved at the upcoming meeting of the UAF Executive Committee.

As a reminder, in the 2025/26 season, four Ukrainian representatives in European competitions will begin their campaigns in the early qualifying rounds — before the start of the UPL Championship.

• UEFA Champions League: the UPL champion will enter the second qualifying round (matches on July 22/23 and 29/30).
• UEFA Europa League: the Ukrainian Cup winner or the UPL runner-up will start in the first qualifying round (July 10 and 17).
• UEFA Conference League: the second and third (or third and fourth) UPL teams will enter the second qualifying round (July 24 and 31).
