The concept of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 was presented.

On June 5, at 14:00 in the conference hall of the House of Football the presentations of the Ukrainian Super Cup concept, the official broadcaster, the ticket operator, and the official match ball took place.

The press conference was attended by the UPL President Thomas Grimm, the UPL Vice-President Markiyan Klyuchkovsky, the UPL Executive Director Ievgen Dykyi, the director of TV-channels Football 1 and Football 2 Oleksandr Denysov in the capacity of the broadcaster representative, the Director General of the ticket operator esport.in.ua Roman Poryadchenko, and the New Balance Marketing Director Olexii Zerkal as the official distributor representative.

Primarily, the Ukrainian Premier League President Thomas Grimm took the floor. He stated that “The Ukrainian Super Cup game that takes place in July is one of the best traditions of Ukrainian football. This year it is the 15^th jubilee rally! Every time the Ukrainian Super Cup match was a super game in the super city at the super stadium with a super show and super emotions. I am sure the 15^th jubilee match will not be an exception. Moreover, the bunch of exciting events will be held in a few days before the match itself. Thus, the Ukrainian Premier League will hold a variety of events and activities for Odessites and the city visitors, so that everyone can find something interesting for themselves. And the main event starts on  July 21 at the Chornomorets Stadium. See you there”

After the speech of Thomas Grimm, the UPL Vice-President Markiyan Klyuchkovsky took the floor. He said: "As has always been the case, we wish to implement the idea that the Super Cup is not just a football match, but rather a great show. This year the concept of the Super Cup is "Choose your color", one of the latest world trends. Orange and blue are the colors of the teams participating in the match on July 21. We want the full Chornomorets Stadium to be "colored" during the Super Cup game".

The UPL Executive Director Ievgen Dykyi specified: “The price policy of the Super Cup tickets is going to be the same as last year. We made the firm decision not to raise prices".

The director of thematic TV-channels Football 1 and Football 2 Oleksandr Denysov said: “We are happy to have extended the agreement with the UPL whereby we will remain the Super Cup broadcaster for the next three years. I assure you that the level of broadcasting is going to be as always high and corresponding to the UEFA Champions League play-off matches level. As in the previous years, our channels are going to provide some features on broadcasting that our viewers will catch fancy, I hope”.

Afterwards, the Director General of the ticket operator esport.in.ua Roman Poryadchenko gave a speech: “We are thankful to the UPL for the continuation of our cooperation. In a short time, all fans will be able to buy traditional paper tickets as well as e-tickets”.

The New Balance Marketing Director Olexii Zerkal in the capacity of the official distributor representative said that there will be the new official ball for the Super Cup match.

At the end of the press conference, the journalists asked their questions.

After this, the draw to determine the host team of the Ukrainian Super Cup 2018 was held. Thus, it will be FC Shakhtar!

Eventually, all the prerequisites to provide an outstanding level of football on July 21 in Odesa are created!
