The General meeting of UPL participants took place

The event was held in the way of a constructive discussion of all issues

On August 18, at the House of Football, it was held the General Meeting of the Ukrainian Premier League participants.

The General Meeting was attended by the UPL Executive Director Ievgen Dykyy, UPL Directorate, representatives of all League clubs, UAF First Vice-President Vadym Kostyuchenko, and the Chairman of labor union “Football of Ukraine” Igor Gataullin.

The General Meeting took a decision to exclude FC Karpaty from the UPL list of participants and accept FC Minaj, FC Ruh, and FC Ingulets to the UPL participants for the 2020/21 season. The First Vice-President of the UAF presented the appropriate certificates to all three clubs.

Also at the General Meeting, the UPL participants approved the results of the All-Ukrainian football competitions among the teams of the UPL clubs of the 2019/20 season; the annual report on the financial and economic activities of the UPL in the 2019/20 season; the composition of the UPL participants for the 2020/21 season; UPL financial plan for the 2020/21 season.

One of the most important issues on the agenda was the creation of UPL TV. After a constructive discussion, the clubs agreed to set up a task force in the next few days to deal with the practical implementation of the issues.
